More than two months after Typhoon Tino devastated Negros Occidental, skeletal remains of one of its victims were discovered on Sunday at a sugarcane plantation in Sitio Simboryo, Barangay Bulad, Isabela, Negros Occidental.
According to the report from the Isabela Municipal Police Station, Felimon Mana-ay, a sugarcane worker, found the remains while harvesting sugarcane in the area.
After reporting his discovery, police arrived at the scene and found human skeletal remains scattered in the middle of the sugarcane plantation.

The remains belong to 59-year-old resident of Hacienda Pilar, Barangay Crossing Magallon, Moises Padilla.
He was last seen untying his carabao at the sugarcane plantation during the typhoon on November 4, 2025.
