According to the press release, smartphones and educational books were given as an aid to the students who are under distance e-learning and currently enrolled in online learning delivery modality as required by school authorities in adapting to the safety protocols of this pandemic.

President Pauline Cuaycong and Rotarian Michelle Medrano, Club Assistant Treasurer represented Rotary Club of Bacolod in the turnover of units of smartphones that are internet-ready for e-learning and educational books. The school was represented by Mr. Virgilio Modesto, School Principal.

The press release said the provision of learning gadgets is important to students, especially now that education is moving towards the utilization of technology.

Moreover, it is a great contribution towards better learning modes for students who are deserving but are economically deprived. The educational tools will certainly help build their foundation towards the new trend of learning and will help build their future.

The Rotary Club of Bacolod continues to help and support the community in whatever way it can, as it stands for this year’s theme, Serve to Change Lives.*PR
