A resolution commending the Bacolod City Population Office for its exemplary performance in the localization of population development strategies, and for having been recognized as The Most Outstanding Local Population Office in Western Visayas for three consecutive years from 2022 to 2024, was passed by the Bacolod Sangguniang Panlungsod Wednesday.
Authored by Councilor Claudio Jesus Raymundo Puentevella, the resolution said the Bacolod City Population Office is mandated by law to implement programs and activities related to population and development, responsible parenthood, and adolescent health.
Due to its relentless dedication to public service and exemplary performance in the furtherance of its mandate to implement programs and activities in population development, it was recognized as a hall of famer and most outstanding local population office in Western Visayas, the resolution said.
The Bacolod City Population Office held the exemplary performance for three consecutive years, it added.*
