The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Negros Occidental yesterday concurred the appointment of two Capitol department heads, at a permanent capacity, as recommended by Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson.
Dr. Maria Girlie Pinongan is now occupying the position as Hospital Operations Department head and Merle Garcia is the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer.
Dr. Placida Lemana, on the other hand, remains as officer-in-charge of the Provincial Veterinarian Office.
The seven Capitol-managed hospitals also got new chiefs.
Dr. Gliceria Javellana is now the chief of the Merceditas Montilla District Hospital in Sipalay City, Dr. Ma. Lalaine Teorima for the Eleuterio Decena Memorial Hospital in Hinobaan, Dr. Claudella Josefa Pabillo for the Cadiz District Hospital;
Dr. Myre Parpa heads the Lorenzo Zayco District Hospital in Kabankalan City, Dr. Josephine Pahamtang at the Valladolid District Hospital, Dr. Jiji Lucil Felecitas Versoza at the Valeriano Gatuslao Memorial District Hospital in Himamaylan City, and Dr. Neil Natu is the chief of the Ignacio Lacson Arroyo Sr. Memorial Hospital in Isabela, Negros Occidental.*
