A resolution expressing the profound condolences and deepest sympathies of the City Government of Bacolod to the bereaved family of the late former barangay captain Elizabeth Bolonia-Baker of Barangay 35, Bacolod City, was unanimously approved by the Bacolod Sangguniang Panlungsod Wednesday.

The resolution authored by Councilor Lady Gles Pallen, said that during her term as barangay captain of Brgy. 35, Baker actively participated in the official conduct of the affairs of the barangay and contributed to its development and progress.

The sudden demise of Baker, who was fondly called by many “Kap Baker”, is a great loss to her family, friends, relatives and the public, it said.

The members of the SP share with the members of the bereaved family, their sorrow and pain, and thereby express their profound condolences and deepest sympathies, the resolution said.

Earlier, the SP also approved a resolution expressing its condolences to the family of former barangay captain Jerry Young Cuachon of Brgy. 36, who died at the age of 47 due to cardiac arrest.*
