A resolution congratulating Antonio Alexi Gayares for placing 9th in the May 2024 Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination, was approved by the Bacolod Sangguniang Panlungsod yesterday.
Authored by Councilor Em Ang, the resolution said the Professional Regulation Commission announced Tuesday that 7,749 out of 11,116 examinees passed the Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination given by the Board of Nursing in 18 different sites all over the country last May 6 to 7.
Antonio Alexi Gayares a Bacolodnon born, raised, and residing in Barangay Taculing, has brought honor and prestige to this city for passing the May 2024 Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination with a rating of 90.29 percent and placing 9th among 11,116 examinees, it said.
Antonio, a graduate of the Adventist University of the Philippines, is the son of Dr. Hector Gayares, Jr., the former president of Bacolod Adventist Medical Center (BAMC) and chief executive officer of Adventist International Healthcare System, and Dr. Maria Jocelyn Gayares. Dr. Hector Gayares played an important role during the pandemic working as a volunteer Deputy for Medical Services of the City Government’s COVID Emergency Operations Center, the resolution said.
Antonio Alexi Gayares exemplifies that excellence and success can be achieved through hard work, determination and dedication, it said.
The Sangguniang Panlungsod of Bacolod City joins the whole city in congratulating Antonio Alexi Gayares who had made Bacolodnons proud of his outstanding performance in the May 2024 Philippines Nurses Licensure Examination.*
