The Bacolod Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) is requesting the City Health Office, thru the Mayor, to submit to the SP the complete list of names with corresponding designation and area of assignment of all qualified recipients/health workers of the One Covid Allowance (OCA)/Health Emergency Allowance (HEA).
The SP also requested the CHO to submit its guidelines for the qualification of the said grant (OCA/HEA) in compliance with the colatilla for ratifying Resolution No. 211, Series of 2023.
The resolution authored by Councilor Em Ang said Resolution No. 211 series of 2023 was passed last March 1, during the 35th Regular Session ratifying the Memorandum of Agreement between Department of Health represented by Dr. Adriano Subaan and the City of Bacolod, represented by Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez, regarding the transfer of funds for the grant of the one Covid allowance (OCA) / health emergency allowance (HEA).
A colatilla was added to the above-mentioned Resolution that the City Health Office must first submit to the Sangguniang Panlungsod the complete list of names with corresponding designation and area of assignment of all qualified recipients/health workers of the OCA/HEA and likewise its guidelines for the qualification of the said grant, it said.
The City Treasurer’s Office has started disbursing the aforesaid OCA/HEA to recipients in the last weeks of March and is still currently ongoing, the resolution said.
The Sangguniang Panlungsod has not received the list of qualified recipients pursuant to the colatilla of the above-mentioned Resolution, it said.
This is to reiterate our call to the City Health Office to submit the aforesaid requested documents to the Sangguniang Panlungsod immediately, the resolution added.*
