The Sangguniang Panlungsod of Bacolod City will hold a virtual necrological service for the late Councilor Elmer Sy on Wednesday.
Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran, who was a close friend of Sy, said the second part of their regular session on Wednesday will be the necrological service.
Familiaran said the remains of Sy had been cremated already but, as of yesterday, he had no idea if they were already brought to the Acropolis Gardens Sanctuary in Brgy. Bata.
Sy, 66, succumbed to a lingering illness after almost a week of being confined and hooked to a life support at the Bacolod Adventist Medical Center.
Elected as the 11th member of the SP in 2019, Sy started his political career in the early 90s.*
