Members of Task Force Spaghetti Wires convened yesterday to prepare for the resumption of its operations after the MassKara Festival celebration in Bacolod City, a press release from Bacolod PIO said.
The meeting, presided by Councilor Pao Sy, SP chairperson on Public Works, was attended by representatives from various telecommunication companies, as well as from the City Engineer’s Office, Bacolod Traffic Authority Office, PNP and Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.
The Task Force is scheduled to work four days a week and will prioritize the spaghetti wires along the downtown area and Lacson Street.
The Telcos have expressed their continued commitment to help the local government in fixing the tangled wires on electric poles in some parts of the city.*
