St. Ezekiel Moreno Reliquarium opens to public

RELICS. The St. Ezekiel Moreno Reliquarium at Villa Milagros in Brgy. Tangub, Bacolod City, houses more than 200 relics of various saints, is now open to the public.*

The St. Ezekiel Moreno Reliquarium, which houses more than 200 relics of various saints, located at Villa Milagros in Barangay Tangub, Bacolod City, is now open to the public, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Hosted by the Augustinian Recollect Contemplative Nuns of the St. Ezekiel Moreno Monastery, – the reliquarium also functions as a chapel within the monastery, and serves as an extension of the religious community’s mission.

Considered as the first facility of its type in Negros Island Region, the sacred space was constructed in May 2023, with the support its sponsors, including Maria Teresa Taganile, sister general of the Order of the Province of St. Ezekiel Moreno.

Among the relics of various saints at the reliquarium include their patron saint – St. Ezekiel Moreno, St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta, St. John Paul II, St. Padre Pio, and millennial saint St. Carlo Acutis.

Regular masses are held, while an anointing of the sick is scheduled every 19th of the month.

Pilgrimages are welcome, as devotees may visit the sacred space without any coordination required.

While there is no entrance fee, the devotees may make donations.*
