
Negros Occidental proudly celebrates the outstanding achievements of the STAI BowlerX youth team, which brought home a series of prestigious recognitions for 2024.
The young athletes showcased their talent, dedication, and perseverance in year-long competitions, culminating in an impressive year-end performance that brought honor to the province.
BOWLERS OF THE YEAR
The team’s exceptional performance was highlighted by individual accolades in various categories: Bantam Boys – Lyle Rosales, Bantam Girls – Maryse Suela, Junior Girls – Rachelle Nedamo, Majors Girls – Tracey Tan, and Collegiate Girls – Nicole Agujo.
MOST IMPROVED
Two bowlers stood out for their remarkable growth this season: Girls Division – Antonnette Garcia and Boys Division – Lance Tan.
GRASSROOTS DEVELOPMENT AT ITS BEST
The success of the STAI BowlerX youth team underscores the impact of the grassroots developmental programs spearheaded by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) and the Philippine Bowling Federation (PBF).
With the guidance of PSC coach Herman Santos and USBC Silver and Bronze-certified coaches Billy Lopue, Jose “Junjun” Tan, Ariel Yelo, and Stephen “Karl” Barbosa, these young athletes were equipped with the skills and discipline needed to excel.
The achievements of the STAI BowlerX youth team are a testament to their passion and hard work.
