December 26 marked a triumphant opening for the STAI Youth-Bowler X contingent as they showcased their skills in the prestigious PBF Youth Annuals 2024 at E-Lanes Bowling Center, Ortigas Ave., Greenhills.
Competing against some of the country’s best youth bowlers, the team brought home victories across several categories.
Bantam Division boys champion was Lyle Rosales and Miguel Lucas Doloso was 2nd runner-up. In Bantam girls, 1st runner-up went to Ryo Jareño, 2nd runner-up – Maryse Suela. For Juniors Division girls, champion was Icy Togores-Dulos and 2nd runner- up – Rachel Nedamo.
Junior boys champion was Andrey Barbosa. Majors Division boys 2nd runner-up went to Syd Vista, while girls champion was Antonnette Garcia and 1st runner-up was Tracey Tan. The Collegiate Division girls champion was Nicole Agujo.
The STAI Youth-Bowler X team displayed exemplary performance, with multiple podium finishes and key victories in both individual and team events.
LOOKING AHEAD
The competition is far from over as the youth bowlers from Negros Occidental gear up for the next leg of the tournament, set to run from December 27-30. Events include the singles, doubles, team categories, and the highly anticipated overall championship.*
