Street-level suspect caught with P272K in shabu

A street-level individual was apprehended in a drug buy-bust operation on Saturday, resulting in the confiscation of P272,000 worth of suspected shabu.

Elements of Police Station 2 Station Drug Enforcement Team/Intel Team conducted the operation at Purok Lubi, Barangay 3, Bacolod City, at approximately 5:53 p.m.

The suspect was identified as Jude Dela Torre, 21-years-old, single, and a resident of Barangay 3, who reportedly works as a barker in the area.

The suspect was caught by authorities in the act of selling illegal drugs.

Confiscated from Dela Torre were approximately 40 grams of suspected shabu recovered in eight plastic sachets.

The arrested individual is now in the custody of Police Station 2 and is facing charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 of The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
