Policemen arrested a senior high school student and four other drug suspects, including a woman, in series of buy bust operations on January 8 in Negros Occidental, also yielding suspected shabu with a market value of more than P93,000.
The buy bust operation of the police on Monday at Burgos Street in Brgy. 1 poblacion, Pontevedra, led to the arrest of a Grade 11 student, and his 19-year-old companion, that led to the confiscation of an estimated three grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P20,400, marked money of P500, and an improvised tooter.
Both are residents of Pontevedra.
The arrest of a 35-year-old female drug suspect in another buy bust operation at Looney 2 in Brgy. Mambulac, Silay City, also yielded about 10 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P68,000 and P3,000 in marked money.
Two other suspected drug peddlers, a musician and an ice cream maker, were arrested by the police during a buy bust operation inside a memorial park in Brgy. Nanunga, Hinigaran.
Their arrests also yielded seven sachets of suspected shabu with a market value of P5,400 and P500 in marked money.
All the arrested suspects are currently detained at police custodial facilities.*
