A student, categorized by the police as a High Value Individual drug personality, was arrested during a buy bust operation on Friday at Purok Kawayan 2 in Barangay Handumanan, Bacolod City.
The apprehension of a certain Jac by operatives of the Bacolod City Police Office Drug Enforcement Unit yielded about 115 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P782,000.
A similar anti drug operation on January 16 at Hacienda Granada in Brgy. Matab-ang, Talisay City, Negros Occidental also led to the arrest of alias Toto, and the recovery of eight sachets of suspected shabu, P500 in marked money, and a black Rusi motorcycle.
On Jan. 15, policemen arrested 10 drug suspects in separate buy bust operations in Negros Occidental, leading to the confiscation of P681,360 worth of suspected shabu.
Meanwhile, a laborer identified by the police as alias Dondon was apprehended by the police at Purok Buyong in Brgy. Cabia-an, Candoni. His arrest yielded a Colt caliber .45 pistol with a magazine containing five ammunition.*
