Pulupandan Vice Mayor Anthony Gerard Suatengco was reelected as president of the Vice Mayor’s League of the Philippines – Negros Occidental chapter during the general assembly on July 25 at the Golden Fortune Seafood Restaurant in Bacolod City.
Suatengco will serve as VMLP-Negros Occidental president for another three year term (2025-2028). He served as its president from 2022-2025.
In his Facebook account, Bacolod City Vice Mayor Claudio Jesus Raymundo Puentevella said that Victorias City Mayor Francis Frederick Palanca was elected as vice president, Silay City Vice Mayor Thomas Maynard Ledesma as the secretary general, Manapla Vice Mayor Edgar Pagayonan as treasurer, La Carlota City Vice Mayor David Baga Jr. – auditor, and E.B. Magalona Vice Mayor Marvin Malacon as Public Relations Officer.
The Board of Directors is composed of Puentella, who represents the Bacolod Lone District, San Carlos City Vice Mayor Christopher Paul Carmona, and Escalante City Vice Mayor Rogelio Prietos – 2nd district, Cadiz City Vice Mayor John Vincent Escalante, and Sagay City Vice Mayor Narciso Javelosa – 2nd district.
Talisay City Vice Mayor Angel Gabriel Villacin and Murcia Vice Mayor Johnny Reosura – 3rd district; Bago City Vice Mayor Andrew Martin Torres and Pontevedra Vice Mayor Silveria Gilbor – 4th district; Hinigaran Vice Mayor Jose Nadie Arceo and Binalbagan Vice Mayor Mary Ann Mirasol – 5th district; Kabankalan City Vice Mayor Divinagracia Miranda and Ilog Vice Mayor John Paulo Alvarez – 6th district.*
