
Visual and performing artists from the Art Association of Bacolod, Christian Artists National Various Arts Society, and the Babayi Arts Group opened a group art exhibit of paintings at the gallery of Modern Hut Café at the Marketplace, Bacolod City, Sunday that will run until March 28.


Dubbed as “Summer Breeze”, the exhibit is in partnership with the Loveandlife and Ramoth Gilead Band.
The art exhibit is for the benefit of artists undergoing dialysis, and features the works of Dolly Gatuslao, Sony Golez, Pablita Nava, Chrysee Samillano, Cyrene Cuenca, couple Arthur and Miriam Bayles, and Rodney Martinez, founding member of the Arts Association of Bacolod.


Andrea Lizares-Si, chair of the Provincial Council for Women, Marie June Castro – executive assistant IV of the Office of the Governor, Corazon Golez – board member of the Arts for Women, Dorothy Gatuslao – chairman of Feminine Touch, and Miriam Bayles, founder of the Babayi Arts Group were guests of honor at the opening ceremony Sunday. The event also marks the 38th wedding anniversary of the Bayles couple.*
