The City Government of Talisay, in collaboration with partner organizations, including the People Systems Consultancy, and the City of Talisay Social Welfare and Development, launched the “Reach Independence and Sustainable Entrepreneurship (R.I.S.E.) STANDARD program” yesterday in Talisay City.
The three-day training and empowerment initiative will run until April 9, at the Minulu-an Hall, Talisay City, a press release from Talisay Economic and Investment Promotions Office said.
Sponsored by Maybank Foundation, the R.I.S.E STANDARD program aims to provide real and tangible support for disadvantaged communities, with special focus on persons with disabilities. The training aims to nurture the participants’ critical skills and knowledge to build sustainable livelihoods and independent ventures.
With modules ranging from Business Profiling, Customer Value Proposition, and Blue Ocean Strategies, to Financial Education, Investment, and Sales Strategies, the program provides a comprehensive roadmap to entrepreneurial success.
The sessions are facilitated by experts from People Systems Consultancy assisted by the CTEIPO and CSWDO, and will also include orientation from financial institutions like Maybank.
The initiative underscores the city’s commitment to inclusive economic growth by supporting individuals and communities to thrive through innovation, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit.
The event is also part of the city’s continuing efforts under the ASENSO Program, designed to uplift lives through capacity-building and sustainable development.
Graduates of this 3-day training will be further assisted by the city government through the CTEIPO in terms of upskilling and upscaling of their start-up enterprise.
