Police probers remain clueless on the identities of two cadavers discovered on August 29 in Barangay Dos Hermanas, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
PLt. Col. Alvin Christopher Baybayan, Talisay City police chief, said that one of the two bodies, which were difficult to identify as it was found in an advanced state of decomposition, is suspected to be that of a woman.
Police probers are also investigating reports that several gunshots were heard in the area where the two cadavers had been found, at a grassy area of the First Farmers Holding Corporation in Brgy. Dos Hermanas, Talisay City.
On Aug. 11, three persons were also found dead in Brgys. Concepcion and Matab-ang in Talisay City. While two of the three victims have already been identified, the Talisay City police have yet to establish the motives behind the killings, and identify the suspects involved.
ANOTHER DEAD BODY
A lifeless body of a man was found in front of his house, with traces of blood found on the nearby road, believed to be his vomit due to tuberculosis, at Hacienda Manaul, Purok Ma-anyag, Brgy. Matab-ang, Talisay City, in Negros Occidental yesterday morning.
Initial investigation reveals that at around 1:35 AM, the victim’s younger brother found the lifeless body of his elder brother lying in front of their house with traces of blood on the road.
The victim was identified as Richard Marck Nance, 36-years-old, married, and a resident of the area.
According to the victim’s father, his son had been suffering from tuberculosis. He further believed that there was no foul play involved in the incident.
The body of the victim was brought to the Talisay Health Office by personnel of Manapla Funeral Homes for official declaration of cause of death.
Despite the discovery of five dead persons in separate areas of Talisay City last month, Baybayan told Bombo Radyo that the peace and order in his area of operations remains peaceful and orderly.*
