TP in the Philippines has been honored as first runner-up for the Gender-Inclusive Workplace category of the United Nations Women 2024 Asia-Pacific Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) Awards on November 27, according to a press release from the company.

As the only business process outsourcing company to be awarded under the Gender-Inclusive Workplace category, this milestone marks TP’s first recognition from UN Women, “the United Nations entity dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls.”

“This award is a testament to our shared commitment to champion women empowerment and gender equality across all levels of the organization,” said Toni Tompar, TP Women Chair and Executive Vice President of Operations.

“It is an affirmation of the meaningful progress we have made across the years in building a workplace where women are empowered to grow, lead, and make an impact. Now, more than ever, we are inspired to continue breaking barriers and driving change for an even more inclusive future,” Tompar added.*
