Terramax ATM, MT win Friday games

The Terramax ATM defeated Terramax RT, 78-54 during their match last Friday. The RT boys jumped out to a strong start holding ATM to just 3 points, the lowest output of the conference after one quarter, 21-3. ATM however turned up the pressure in the second to outscore RT and tie the game, going into the break at 35 all.

The ATM’s stayed in control through the third and then managed to push their lead to 5 points entering the final ten minutes. The RT’s had no answers in the fourth, as the Terramax ATM completed a three-game winning streak. Randy Colonia led the way for Terramax ATM with 19 points, followed by Francis Barcellano’s 14 points and player of the game honors, while Buddy Eufre totaled 13 markers. Meanwhile Mic-Mic Germodo and Arvin Gustilo led Terramax RT with 12 points each while Hinel Jison contributed 10 points.

In the other Friday game. Terramax MT defeated Atrezzo Eco, 101-80.  The former was in full force, playing with a complete line up but the latter were not intimidated as both teams ended the first quarter even, with the score at 21 all. Ronald Delada waxed hot in the second quarter, scoring 14 points as the MT’s established a 17 point lead by the break. 

Terramax MT outscored the Ecos in the third, despite a big performance from Cris Pascua, who sank 4 triples in the quarter. The Eco’s had no answer in the fourth, allowing the MT’s to cruise to an easy victory. 

Jason Yap led Terramax MT with five triples for 15 points and player of the game honors. Ronald Delada registered 14 points, while Julius Teruel’s 4 triples also registered 12 points.  Meanwhile, Harry Siendo led Atrezzo Eco with 15 points. Cris Pascua tallied 14 points, and Mark Ferrer posted 13 points.*
