The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority is offering livelihood skills training for residents of the 3rd District, especially locally displaced workers, and overseas Filipino workers affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The livelihood skills training seminars are being facilitated by Rep. Francisco Benitez (Neg. Occ., 3rd District), under the Bayanihan 2 Recover as One Program of the national government.

The Ecological and Agricultural Development Foundation, Victory Business College Inc., and the Mirai Empower Foundation Corp. will serve as training providers.

The Special Training for Employment Program (STEP) will benefit 113 residents.

Preparations are also underway for more training programs, including Produce Concoctions and Extracts leading to Organic Agriculture Production NC II in Victorias City, Raise Organic Hogs leading  to Organic Agriculture Production NC II in Murcia, and Cookery NC II in Talisay City, for residents in the district, the office of Benitez said.*
