The Feminine Touch artists organized an art exhibit for a cause, currently ongoing at Art Studio Forty-Nine, Pacita Arcade, La Salle Ave., Bacolod City, featuring the works of 23 female visual artists from Negros and Iloilo.
Part of the proceeds of the exhibit will benefit the medical expenses of fellow artist Manuel Palacios, a member of the Art Association of Bacolod-Negros.
Titled “The Gift”, the show opened on December 1 and will run until Dec. 12.
Guest of honor at the opening was Bernard Halili Martir who represented Rose Ann Magallanes Uy.



Featured artists are Feminine Touch founder Dolly Gatuslao, Anette Feria, and Sony Golez, all past presidents of AAB; Patty Jane Ong, Svet Sevilleno, Jenevieve Abeto, Sandy Solinap, Doreen Dofitas, Chin Guanzon-Romorosa, Pabs Guanzon, Gwyneth Tiolo, Marse Cuenca, Fe Sumagaysay, February Cheryl, Konica Faustino, Princy Martir, Pablita Nava, Michelle Corteza, Nicole Kate Espina, Rose Jimeno, Chrysee Samillano, Amira Aldiri, and Om Madhu of Iloilo City.
Meanwhile, Tiolo rendered a song number, and Dofitas and Romorosa read poems they composed, during their Christmas party which followed after the opening of the show.
Abeto said this is the first art exhibit held at Art Studio Forty-Nine since it opened two months ago.*
