Her solo exhibit in Gallery A titled “Shadow Secrets”, is a collection of works from 2019 to 2023. “I was born in Iloilo and grew up in Manila and moved to the US and lived there for about 40 years. I retired here and discovered a most personal journey of art and stories,” she said.
Silva said in Gallery B is a very colorful group of paintings and sculptures by leading Negrense artists. In the show titled “Tanan, Bahin sg Negros,” artist Janna Remus writes “it features various aspects of our Negros identity through culture, arts, lifestyle, food and agriculture.”
In Gallery C “we celebrate the inspiration of the Chapel of St. Joseph the Worker in Victorias City.” In the show titled “Balay Balaan, Balay Katawhan”, we are committed to encourage the community to explore the medium of printmaking that is very affordable and approachable, she said adding that they will be conducting a workshop and artist talks during the duration of the exhibition.*
