Three suspects, including a drug surrenderer, were nabbed with P92,000 worth of suspected shabu and paraphernalia in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, on Monday.
A drug suspect, identified as Joselito Lumbrino, alias Amay, was apprehended by the police during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. 6, San Carlos City.
The arrest of Lumbrino, 44, yielded 10 grams of suspected shabu, with a market value of P68,000, P500 in marked money, and an improvised tooter.
A similar anti-drug operation was conducted in Brgy. 5, San Carlos City, that resulted in the arrest of two drug suspects, identified by the police as Jayban Rosalejos and Richard Perez, a drug surrenderee.
Maj. Mark Junco, officer-in-charge of the San Carlos City Police Station, reported to the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office that the apprehension of Rosalejos and Perez yielded about three grams of suspected shabu, with a market value of P20,400, two disposable lighters, and P300 in marked money. The three suspects are now in jail, and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
