The Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) Cadiz City, distributed Agricultural Free Patent Titles under CARP Funded C.Y. 2014 to 17 identified beneficiaries of Brgy. Bug-ang, Municipality of Toboso, Negros Occ. as part of the agency’s “Handog Titulo” program.

The distribution of land titles was led by OIC, CENR Officer Mamad Gandarosa Jr., along with Regulation and Permitting Section Chief Perpetuo John Odango III, Mayor Madonnah Jaojoco, SB Member Richard Jaojoco, Brgy Captain Reynaldo Delima and Municipal Assessor Allan Jose Leonor.

The Handog Titulo Program seeks to expedite the processing and issuance of public land patents to qualified recipients to alleviate poverty and fuel progress and development.

Partnerships on Public Land Titling Program aims to fast-track the disposition of untitled lots and processing of public land titles through residential and agricultural free patents to provide security of land tenure to land owners and spur economic activity from land related transactions. This is also one of the 10-point priority programs of the agency under the Improved Land Administration and Management.*
