A former vice mayor of Toboso in Negros Occidental, has posted bail of P72,000, after a warrant of arrest was issued against him by the court, for malversation of public funds or property, presumption of malversation, and malversation through falsification of public document.
The arrest warrant was served yesterday by the police, led by P/Maj Jun Rey Batadlan, against former Toboso Vice Mayor Jesse Rex Bartolome.
Other respondents in the case were Nathalie Dawn Hiponia, Roy Mariquit and Stephanie Carol Dumdum, whose arrest warrants were issued by San Carlos Regional Trial Court Judge Reginald Feuntebella.
Hiponia, Mariquit and Dumdum are now under the custody of Toboso Police Station.*
