Himamaylan City Mayor Rogelio Raymund Tongson and Vice Mayor Justin Gatuslao declared that their tandem remains strong, contrary to claims.
The TOGA (Tongson-Gatuslao) tandem is “still strong and formidable,” Tongson disclosed at the sidelines of the United Negros Alliance general assembly on September 7, held in Talisay City.
He dismissed the rumors that somebody will challenge Gatuslao in the vice mayoralty race of the 2025 midterm elections.
With only one slot open for the councilor candidate position under the TOGA team, Tongson said he could not promise and assure a slot for councilor to anyone.
“We will try our best to retain our team, including all the councilors,” the mayor added.*
