The change of venue for this year’s MassKara Festival Streetdance Competition on October 22 will affect 17 public utility vehicle (PUV) routes in Bacolod City.

The streetdance competition, which will start from SM City Bacolod and end at the Paglaum Sports Complex, will affect 17 routes compared to last year’s competition, which started at Rizal-Locsin streets and also ended at the PSC, which affected only four routes.

Bacolod Traffic Authority Office (BTAO) head Police Maj. Junji Liba said that 10 modernized and seven traditional jeepney routes will be affected by the rerouting scheme.

This year’s streetdance competition will start from SM City Bacolod going towards Rizal Street, turn at Rizal-San Juan streets (Police Station 1), proceed along San Juan-Gonzaga streets toward Araneta Street, and end at the Paglaum Sports Complex.*
