L’Fisher Hotel, Bacolod City held a Christmas tree lighting ceremony at the hotel lobby, Saturday, which also commenced its Tree of Hope 2022 project.
The Tree of Hope has been an annual tradition of the hotel which aims to raise funds and donations for a chosen beneficiary.
This year, all proceeds in cash and kind will go to the Kalipay Negrense Foundation Inc., a non-profit, working for the causes of disadvantaged children – the homeless, abandoned, neglected, malnourished, physically and sexually abused, victims of child labor and trafficking, foundlings, Mhell Sillador, director of Kalipay Negrense Foundation Inc., said in his acceptance speech.

The countdown for the lighting ceremony was led by Delia Ciocon-Granada, CEO of L’Fisher Hotel, along with Franz Gasataya, daughter of Bacolod Rep. Greg Gasataya, Councilor Jayson Villarosa and Victor James Alcantara, resident manager of L’Fisher Hotel.
Available at the hotel are Christmas balls with personalized greetings sold at P200 for donors to hang on the Christmas tree.
The turnover ceremony will be on January 6, 2023 at the Hotel Lobby.
Selling is from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., starting December 3. Donations in kind are also accepted by the hotel.
The Kalipay Negrense Foundation children presented song and dance numbers during the program, followed by ballet performances by dancers of the Garcia-Sanchez School of Dance, and the USLS Chorale rendered Christmas songs.*
