St. Vincent’s Home for the Aged in Bacolod City is this year’s beneficiary of L’Fisher Hotel’s “Tree of Hope” project which will run from November 27 to January 6.
The Tree of Hope lighting ceremony this Christmas Season was led by Bacolod Councilor Em Ang, L’Fisher CEO Delia Ciocon Granada, Bacolod Tourism Operations Officer Ma. Teresa Manalili, and L’Fisher resident manager Victor James Alcantara.
Alcantara said “this lighting is being done traditionally, where we get to choose our beneficiary that will represent our company’s image and reputation…. This year we have chosen St. Vincent’s Home for the Aged, a non-profit foundation, that provides temporary shelter for the abandoned and neglected elders of Bacolod.”
Since it is Christmas, it is befitting to share the proceeds of the Tree of Hope to the elders of our city, he said as he invited everyone to purchase a Christmas ball for P200 to support their cause.
St. Vincent’s Home for the Aged represented by Sister Rosalinda Belotindes, DC, rendered a choral singing presentation, while Alfredo Castor belted a solo number.
