The Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) awarded the exemplary passing performance of 100 percent to the Technological University of the Philippines-Visayas during the oathtaking and induction ceremony at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City, February 3.
TUP-Visayas was recognized by the Professional Regulatory Board of Chemistry for having ranked first place with 50 or more examinees and with at least 80 percent passing percentage in the December 2023 Chemical Technician Licensure Examination (CTLE).
Likewise, an Exemplary Performance was given to the University for having a 100 percent passing rate among all participating schools, colleges, and universities, which was accepted by Fritzie Asuncion, program head, BS Chemical Engineering Technology and Bonifacio Jubay, Chemtech Board Review faculty in-charge.
Moreover, TUPV’s Geicel Osano Salaya and Razelyn Joy Giamal, CTLE’s Top 3 and Top 4 passers, respectively, and other topnotchers were honored during the event.
