The Negrense Artists Circle (NAC), in collaboration with Megaworld Bacolod and McDonald’s The Upper East, held two group art exhibitions in the month of June.
The group celebrated the opening of the Pride Gallery at Megaworld’s Glass Tent on June 30 with guests of honor, vlogger Senyora Lakwatsera; Chino Ledesma Christopherson, designer of the Queens; and Gilbert Montebon Jr., executive sales director of Megaworld Bacolod.
On Father’s Day, June 18, NAC held another art exhibition at Mac Cafe at McDonald’s East, along with the United Architects of the Philippines, Mt. Kanla-on Chapter.
Guests of honor during the opening of the exhibit titled “Honoring the Guiding Light: A Tribute to Fatherhood”, were Architects Jico Monte, Jorge Mission, and Felipe Jocson, UAP past district director, charter president, and past district director, respectively.
The participating artists were Jenevieve Abeto, Mel Araneta, Agustin Chavez, Ernie Claud, Michelle Ma Belle Tupaz-Corteza, Marse Cuenca, Doreen Dofitas, Dolly Gatuslao, Chin Guanzon, Pabs Guanzon, Rose Jemino, Mei Lonasco, Lorraine Lorenzo, Alden Macazar, Rodney Martinez, Princy Martir, Patty Jane Ku-Ong, Sherryann Quivis, Sandy Solinap, and Dynalyn Tan.
On the same day, the Volkswagen Club of Bacolod also held a car show at The Upper East, with the replica of the Araneta guest house as the background, curated by artist Sandy Solinap.*
