Undas flower vendors allowed more sites

Flower vendors along Araneta Street, Bacolod City have put-up temporary structures to display flower arrangements, in preparation for the celebration of All Saints Day* CGS photo

The Sangguniang Panlungsod of Bacolod City has granted the request of City Administrator Lucille Gelvolea for the transfer of flower vendors who have secured special permits to sell, during this year’s All Saints Day celebration, to other substitute sites.

This is due to the extended period granted to MassKara food kiosks tenants occupying the public plaza until today, October 31.

The five viable sites recommended are along Gonzaga Street to the northern portion of the Plaza Mart building, Gonzaga Street to Unitop, Araneta Street from Lopue’s Araneta to Thakuz, Gatuslao Street from Chinky’s to Bongbong’s, and Gonzaga Street along Central Market.

Gelvolea also requested for half lane road closure at those sites until November 2.*
