The United Negros Alliance (UNegA) slated a meeting at in the middle of this month to discuss elections of the Philippine Councilors League – Negros Occidental chapter.
Cadiz City Mayor Salvador Escalante, secretary general of UNegA, said they will also discuss the elections for the Association of Chief Executives (ACE) Negros Occidental and League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP).
Escalante said UNegA will always invite Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson and representatives of Love Negros.
At present, PCL – Negros Occidental is represented by Silay City Councilor Ryan Gamboa in the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Negros Occidental.
Also for elections are officers of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines presently headed by Valladolid Mayor Enrique Miravalles, while former Victorias City Mayor Francis Frederick Palanca leads the Association of Chief Executives of Negros Occidental.
Juvy Pepello, a barangay captain of Victorias City, also represents the provincial Liga ng mga Barangay in the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, and Pocholo Yuvienco sits as representative of the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation in the provincial council.
Gamboa, Palanca and Miravalles were endorsed by Love Negros in previous elections.*
