USA’s Global Strategic in Bacolod

Global Strategic Business Process Solutions, a Philippines based, US of A owned outsourcing company, finally unveiled its long-awaited new site in Bacolod City.

Operating since 2006 from Manila, Global Strategic conducted an exhaustive search and made the decision to expand into the Western Visayas region.

The new site, located centrally along Lacson Street near the Capitol Park and Lagoon, has finally given its staff the space that they deserve representing the pride, integrity, and ambition of the company. As the BPO industry continues to expand and grow, Global Strategic has grown along with an eye to the future and ensuring its staff with a new, modern office they will be proud to call their home away from home.

Being a Pride Month, this politically-correct company chose Philippine’s LGBTQ+ icons real life couple Mikey Bustos and RJ Garcia to be their poster boys. Quite popular with the internet set, the couple enjoyed their short stay in Bacolod by touring the nearby tourist spots to Global Strategic’s headquarters. What got their attention was their visit to the Negros Forest Park/Talarak Foundation and seeing the endangered species of birds, particularly our Bleeding Heart Pigeon. Young political sensation Saulo Lizares made sure they got all the information on the park’s advocacy.

Meanwhile, Silay civic leader and founder of the Negros Museum, Lyn Gamboa, went all the way out for a luncheon she tendered in her art-filled home.

We were just a small groupie of my brother Philip and wifey Tina, with my house guest Cebu media icon, Jing Ramos.

An al fresco aperitif was served in Lyn’s terrace overlooking the Casa Gamboa ancestral home and the great expanse of lawn. But our jaws literally dropped when we proceeded to the dining room where a table was laid out with feather weight Royal Dolton fine English bone china and heirloom Tiffany of New York silverware! With a sparkling centrepiece of Lyn’s crystal collection, we proceeded with a fine dining menu of Beggar’s Pouch and Adobo Stuffed Chicken. There was a soup to start with and a local dessert but I can’t remember what they were, so enchanted was I with the luxurious service. I’m so glad, we have Lyn around to appreciate the graciousness of living in Negros Island.

My prayer: And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Colossians 3:14-15, NIV*
