
USLS swimming team bagged the overall championship at the recently concluded Milo National Interschool Long Course Swimming Championship 2026 at the Panaad Sports Complex swimming pool, held on February 14. Ninety-two schools and 295 swimmers from Western Visayas participated in the event.
In the girls division, USLS took first place with 1,552.50 points, followed by SJI – 904 points, and Trinity Christian School – 568 points.
USLS also ruled the boys division with 1,651 points, while SJI took 2nd with 1,636 points, and 498 points earned 3rd place for St. Dominic School of Kalibo.
Outstanding swimmers from USLS included 8-year-old Jazzmyn Kay Soliva from USLS, with 3 golds, 1 silver, and 1 bronze medal; while Julia Jewels Pobleto led the 12 years old girls division with 4 gold medals; Niña Jhoannica Marie Gabo’s 2 gold and 3 silver led the 14-year-old girls; and the 18 and over girls was topped by Rianna Montelibano with 2 gold and 3 silver medals.*
