The more than 1,000 regular and casual employees of the Victorias City government got additional bonuses of P50,000 each, in line with the yuletide season celebration, Mayor Javier Benitez disclosed yesterday.
The bonuses are composed of the P30,000 Service Recognition Incentive, P15,000 for the Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA), and P5,000 Productivity Enhancement Incentive.
This is the first time that the Victorias city government signed a CNA with its employees, and they received P15,000 each as a signing bonus, Benitez said.
He added that Job Order and Contract of Service workers will each receive a gratuity pay of P5,000 before the year ends.
Benitez announced that he also increased the daily rate of JO employees to P480 per day, starting January next year.
These adjustments in their daily wages are meant to help them with their daily needs that are affected by rising inflation, he stressed.*
