Victorias City General Hospital approved at House committee level

The proposed establishment of the Victorias City General Hospital in Negros Occidental is now on its way to reality.

House Bill No. 1239, which authored by Third District Rep. Jose Francisco Benitez, that seeks to establish a General Hospital in Victorias City, was approved yesterday by the House Committee on Health.

It has a proposed budget of P500 million.

House Bill 1239 calls for the establishment of a P500 million Victorias City General Hospital, which is crucial to providing the people of Victorias wider access to affordable and quality healthcare – and saving lives in medical emergencies, he said.

The establishment of a Victorias City General Hospital will provide Victoriahanons and nearby residents of the Third District wider access to affordable and quality healthcare, and most importantly help save lives in times of medical emergencies, a statement from the congressional office of Benitez said.*
