Two women died following a fire incident on Monday that destroyed three houses at Tirad Pass Street, Lopez Subdivision in Barangay 6, Victorias, Negros Occidental.
One of the victims, a 35-year-old woman, was trapped inside the comfort room of her residence, which was gutted by fire.
The other victim, a 58-year-old woman, succumbed to cardiac arrest after she slipped as a result of the fire that destroyed her neighbors’ houses, according to initial investigations of the Bureau of Fire and Protection.
The origin of the fire, which lasted one hour, is still being investigated by BFP.*
