VMA College of Hospitality and Business Management (CHBM) was declared champion in the Food & Beverage category of the MassKanamit Culinary Showdown at SMX Convention Center in Bacolod City, a press release from VMA said.
The victory highlights the hard work, teamwork, and talent of the students, faculty, and coaches.
VMA president Captain Nino Salabas, and executive vice president Dr. Remedios Johanna Vargas expressed pride at the CHBM team for bringing honor to the school. Dean Edwin Benitez also congratulated everyone, saying that this win was the result of everyone’s dedication and the strong support from school leaders.
The faculty and staff shared their pride but stayed humble, saying that while the win is exciting, it’s also a reminder of their goal to keep providing excellent education and preparing students for success. They credited the victory to the students’ passion, discipline, and teamwork.*
