
The Sports and Cultural Team of VMA Global College recently swept the board with golds, silver and bronze medals in sports, and was hailed champion in the literary musical competition, during the Western Visayas Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) 2023 in Iloilo City.
Tresha Mae Giavia and Chris July Bawiin, brought out their best in a vocal duet competition and were declared as champion, while Lift John Demonteverde bagged the 1st runner up in vocal solo competition, a press release from VMA said.
Taekwondo players, Dail Ramyel Pano, Davon Pecha, Andrea Sereno, Jhonji dela Cruz brought home the golds, and bronze, while table tennis players, Reymart Perez, Mel John Valdez, Ramar Guillermo and Theofer Ariola, made the cut for silver medals.

Remedios Johanna Vargas, vice president for Academic Affairs, praised coaches Jet Estefani and Joel Manganti, saying “the successful performance of the participants during the WVPRISAA competition is beyond doubt through the expert guidance and training of the two expert coaches,” you made your Alma Mater proud of you, she added.
Vargas also lauded the efforts of the Poseidon Dance Sports duos and Danny Vale and their coach for representing VMA in the regional qualifiers and also in making a comeback in the next competition. VMA sports and the cultural team made sure they will continue their stellar ratings until the national competition.
