Weather suspends F2F classes

The Bacolod City Schools Division of the Department of Education ordered the suspension of face-to-face classes in seven schools yesterday as three weather disturbances continue to bring moderate to heavy rains.

The suspension order was issued by Assistant Schools Division Superintendent/ASDS OIC Reynaldo Gico in coordination with the Office of Mayor Evelio Leonardia through Dr. Anna Maria Laarni Pornan, head of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.

Covered by Gico’s directive are Alangilan National High School (Alangilan Senior High School and Farm School), Apolinario Mabini Elementary School, Andres Bonifacio ES II, Education and Training Center School III, Alberto Arceo, Sr. Elementary School and Rafael Alunan Elementary School.
