
Chase Karlisle Rosales, fondly known as “Lyle” among his teammates, achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first-ever STAI Youth-Bowler X player to qualify for a masters event in an international bowling competition.
Competing in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in the prestigious 24th MILO STORM Malaysia U22 tournament in the Under 12 category, Lyle delivered a remarkable performance with 669 pinfalls, averaging an impressive 223 pinfalls per game at Sunway Mega Lanes. Rosales is a Grade 5 student at Maranatha Christian Academy, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.
In a fiercely competitive field, Lyle showcased his skill, determination, and composure, ultimately finishing 12th among 22 finalists. This exceptional achievement marks a significant step for Lyle, as well as a proud moment for the STAI Bowler X community, inspiring aspiring bowlers across the region.
Qualifying for the masters’ event in an international competition is a dream come true for all aspiring local bowlers and Lyle is among them. Kudos to the hard-working grandfather coach / trainer Ariel Yelo for diligently guiding Lyle in the competition.
