The number of COVID-19 infected personnel in Western Visayas is down to zero as of yesterday,compared to three last week, records of the PNP Health Service show.
Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, a total of 1,748 NP personnel in Western Visayas have tested positive for infection, with 1,741 already recovered.
Of the infected personnel, 262 are assigned at the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office and 176 at the Bacolod City Police Office.
Deaths remained at seven, with two assigned at NOCPPO, as of yesterday.
PLt. Abegael Donasco, deputy spokesperson of NOCPPO, also reported that only nine police personnel in the province have not been vaccinated as of this time.*
