Three unidentified armed men shot a 68-year-old laborer dead on Tuesday night at Sitio Santos Santos in Brgy. Quintin Remo, Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental.
Police investigations indicated that the victim, whose identity was withheld by the police, and his wife, were approaching their house when they were met by three unidentified persons.
Without any reason, one of the suspects shot the victim at close range, in front of his horrified wife, police investigations further showed.
The victim succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds, after he was shot several times by the gunman.
The suspects immediately fled after the incident.*
