The Bacolod Sangguniang Panlungsod is supporting the implementation of the Science, Technology, and Engineering (STE) Program for junior high school at Mansilingan Agro-Industrial High School.
The resolution authored by Councilor Al Victor Espino said Mansilingan Agro-Industrial High School is an institution committed to promoting quality education to their students and preparing them for future challenges and opportunities.
Integrating a Science, Technology, and Engineering (STE) Program into a junior high school curriculum can increase student engagement, critical thinking skills, and preparedness for further education and career, it said.
The said program inspires students to pursue careers in STEM fields, helping to address the growing demand for skilled professionals in areas such as engineering, computer science, Biotechnology, and other more opportunities, the resolution said.
The proposed Science, Technology and Engineering Program will undoubtedly contribute to further enhance the educational experience of their students, equipping them with crucial skills and knowledge in the field, it said.
The Sangguniang Panlungsod fully supports the STE Education Program at Mansilingan Agro-Industrial High School to ensure its continued success, it added.*
