The defending champion, Cluster 4: Tribu NANAQUI, composed of barangays Nanunga, Narauis, and Quiwi, retained its title as this year’s 46th Hinugyaw Festival street dance and arena competition over-all champion held in Hinigaran, Negros Occidental on April 30.
It also bagged several special awards such as Best in Choreography, Best in Concept, Best in Costume, Best in Production Design, Best in Banner, Best in Pyrotechnics, and Best in Street Dance (1st runner-up), Best in Mundos Costume Display (2nd runner-up), Best in Visayan Costume Display (2nd runner-up). Tribu NANAQUI took home P60,000 in cash prize as champion.
Cluster 8: Tribu BAHITUG composed of barangays Baga-as, Himaya and Tuguis, was declared first runner-up. It also won the Best St. Mary Magdalene Icon, and Most Disciplined. It also won Best in Mundos Costume Display (champion) and Best in Street Dance (champion).
Cluster 5: Tribu TAKWATRES composed of barangays 3, 4, and Tagda, was second runner-up and also won the Best in Visayan Costume Display (champion), Best in Street Dance (2nd runner-up), and Best Audio Van Vehicle.
Cluster 6: Tribu JUANTOGAR composed of barangays 1, 2, and Gargato, was third runner-up, while Cluster 7: Tribu MICAHAW composed of Barangays Anahaw, Camba-og, Miranda was fourth runner-up and took the Best in Visayan Costume Display (1st runner-up).
Cluster 3: Tribu PACAPI composed of barangays Cambugsa, Palayog, and Pilar took the Best in Mundos Costume Display (1st runner-up).*
