Both the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office and the Bacolod City Police Office have accounted for a total of 267 fugitives in a 30-day campaign against wanted persons last month.

NOCPPO nabbed 227 fugitives, of which 17 were classified as Most Wanted Persons, while BCPO arrested 40 others, with seven categorized also as MWPs.

For the entire Region 6, regional police spokesperson PLt. Col. Arnel Solis reported that a total of 502 wanted persons were apprehended.

Of the 502, a total of 77 are classified as MWPs, and 425 as other wanted persons (OWPs).

In a statement, PBrig. Gen. Jack Wanky, regional police director of Western Visayas, lauded the hard work and dedication of the personnel and unit commanders involved.

“Congratulations and keep up the good work. Let us work harder to look for the remaining wanted persons in the region. We will not stop until they are all accounted for,” Wanky said.*
