The Bacolod Sangguniang Panlungsod is requesting Mayor Albee Benitez to consider a comprehensive work week (Monday to Thursday) with work hours stretched from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for employees of the City Government of Bacolod until July 31, due to extremely high temperatures / heat index.
The resolution upon motion of Councilor Claudio Jesus Raymundo Puentevella, jointly seconded by Councilors Em Ang and Celia Matea Flor, was approved by the SP Friday.
The resolution, however, exempts from coverage the Bacolod Traffic Authority Office (BTAO), City Health Office (CHO), Department of Social Services and Development (DSSD), Department of Public Services (DPS), Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (DRRMO), City Diagnostic Laboratory, and City Mayor’s Office.*
